The data presented is based on the annual presentations of the budgets of the Caribbean countries, on the data of the Petrocaribe Development Fund of Jamaica, on the reports related to international cooperation of the Central Bank of Nicaragua, on those of the Monetization Board of Foreign Aid of Haiti and in the balance sheets of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA). In the cases in which information was presented in local currency, the conversion was made based on the average rate of the year in which the respective data was disclosed.
From the renovation of a cricket stadium in Antigua and Barbuda to the failed construction of one of the largest refineries in Latin America in Nicaragua. #Petrofraude carried out an inventory of 234 works and infrastructure programs financed with Venezuelan public funds and channeled to Caribbean and Central American countries through oil agreements, mainly Petrocaribe. The list includes projects never completed in the execution of the reconstruction plan for Haiti after the devastating earthquake of January 2010. There, millions of dollars of Venezuelans were dissipated.
